Akiva Fleischmann

Hi! I'm Akiva. I am a teacher in Northeast Ohio (hence the faculty picture instead of something artsy here).  I have a wife and 3 kids, and I love gadgets. 

I've always been interested in photography, but things really picked up in 2004 when a British airport misplaced my film camera. On the following birthday, I received a Konica Minolta DiMage G400 as a present from my mom, and everything took off from there. In 2008 I got an upgrade for a wedding present, the Canon Digital Rebel xTi. I am currently shooting with a Canon 6D, which I am crazy about. 

My photo editing history goes all the way back to 2001, when I joined the newspaper at SUNY Rockland and just hung around the office all the time. Palbihar, the layout editor, let me look over his shoulder while he was working, and I picked up a few Photoshop tricks from him. Ever since then, I've been the resident photo doctor informally for all my friends and family, and now I can do it for you!
